Learning Design
Educators are the bridge between a collection and a meaningful experience. Learning design is building that bridge: designed for your audience, structured around your learning objectives, and made to carry visitors from a collection to a moment that matters.
Services Include
Content Development
Curriculum design: online courses, virtual field trips, pre- and post-visit materials
Podcasts and videos: scripting and production of audio and video
Interpretive text: copy for apps, kiosks, and interactives
Facilitation guides & toolkits: handbooks that let facilitators, new or experienced, lead a program with fidelity while adapting to their own style; self-guided workbooks that help educators build programs themselves
Process
Kickoff call: define roles, communication, timeline, and objectives
Document review: get up to speed on what exists: learning objectives, past evaluations, audience insights
Feedback cycles: key stakeholders and SMEs see the work develop, not just the final product
Finalized materials: curriculum, scripts, or interpretive text, ready for prime time
