Strategic Planning

If educators are the bridge between a collection and a meaningful experience, strategy is the foundation: a shared direction for what you build, rooted in your mission, and designed to last.

Services Include

  • Creating departmental mission, vision & philosophy

  • Establishing a theory of change or logic model

  • Development of frameworks & roadmaps

Process

  1. Kickoff call: define roles, communication, timeline, and objectives

  2. Document review & discovery: review existing materials and conduct a round of stakeholder interviews

  3. Workshop facilitation: in person or online, with a lot of post-it notes: surfacing ideas, building consensus, and turning a roomful of opinions into a shared direction

  4. Synthesis: workshop discussions distilled into a coherent framework

  5. Feedback cycles: stakeholders see the work develop, not just the final product

  6. Final delivery: the finished strategy, with a summary of background, methodology, and final results that can be shared with you team, leadership, advancement, and other key stakeholders.
